I am pretty sure that most message boards are just a lot of complaints, no? I mean, you might find a little bit of information or some theory on some mechanic, but mostly these places are a way for people to vent.

yeah, it's pretty weird how people come to an official games forums to voice their dissatisfaction. How dare they use the tools SE has provided the community to offer their feedback. I mean who would even make an entire thread to complain anyway...oh wait.
Complain and expressing ideas are too different perspectives. I think this post is directed more towards people who lack common sense or want a trophy for just trying something. Apparently people lack the common sense to distinguish the fact that they are not special and what a business model is. Can't be helped I support his comment though. A person should bring minimum an idea as a resolution and not just wait for others to do it. Then again people are lazy.I WILL COMPLAIN IF I WANT TO, YOU DON'T PAY MY SUB.
ALSO IT'S "THEY'RE A BUSINESS", NOT "THEIR A BUSINESS" OMG.
Also, on a slightly less raging note, complaining/providing feedback is a perfectly acceptable thing to do, and makes a lot more sense than making a post to tell people to stop complaining.
You have a very good point people should think a bit more before complaining.Seriously. You guys don't just bite the hand that feeds you. You rip SE's bloody arm off after they give you a 5 course meal.
Their a business. This is a game. Vanity items are just that, vanities and are completely optional. Having actually played a shit mmo like ESO I'm bloody thankful for all the stuff SE has put out.

This may come as a surprise, but we're the ones feeding them.
Mind you, a lot of these complaints could be done with a little more basic tact and decency, but they shouldn't be just silenced. That's too far in the other direction.
Happy mediums can exist. We don't need to be aggressive about everything all the time.
I'll stop complaining when i am content with the service i have been given.Seriously. You guys don't just bite the hand that feeds you. You rip SE's bloody arm off after they give you a 5 course meal.

"bite the hand that feeds you" goes both ways.
This is exactly it. Complaining and explaining ideas I.e. Your dissatisfaction with something are two totally different things. Complaining has a negative connotation to the behavior used during such action. Most people complain. They do not lay out their displeasure in rational emotion free ways. They'd rather lash out emotionally to get want they want. You can be upset with out using inflammatory language. Venting is something you do with someone who will give you support or a sympathetic ear. Usually a friend or colleague. Not something you do to your boss, a business, or someone in authority.Complain and expressing ideas are too different perspectives. The poor horse. It's been beaten so badly it's not recognizable as a horse anymore.
People will complain just about anything here. It is the most toxic forum for ffxiv (or at least one of the top ones)
And i kind of like ESO, at least they have instanced housing... lol
