This is just appalling

Blizzard has 4 franchises spread across 6 games that are receiving active development (and one of those is getting it's first DLC pack after 2 years of mostly tweaks and the occasional small add)

Square has a lot more than that, so comparing what Blizzard makes and pumps into a much smaller pool of recipients to Square's much larger catalog of active development doesn't really work.

My point simply is, they can afford it without all this nickel and dimeing (or rather $20+), so I don't really buy the idea that they're doing this because they are struggling. They're not some little indie company. It's them just trying to see how much they can squeeze out of you.

If anything I just want the players to make more conscientious purchases when it comes to this sort of thing.
