You can not sit there and tell me that they didn't have the money for that without the mog station. They're a multi billion dollar company that makes more than Blizzard.

I suspect the Cash Shop is used exclusive to finance XIV while everything else is shared amongst the company.

We have no proof of this.

Basic sense makes me doubt it. There is no possible way they couldn't afford what poorer companies can without cash shops.
It's extremely clear it's just around to maximize income by exploiting the bad decisions of the affluent. And while that's well and good for those that can afford it, it puts poorer players at a disadvantage.

Of course they'd say it would go towards that, it's technically true. Any income can/would go towards any budget the company decides.

I don't think Yoshi-P or the rest of the Dev team would say anything or be allowed to say anything about the games financial situation.
Personally, I think SE pools all their money together and gives XIV a stipend, increasing it when it's time for a new expansion.
