I can already imagine the response this is going to get, but I'm going to do it anyway, because this is becoming a joke.

£11. £11 for two glamour items. Over £10 for two pieces of virtual clothing. £4 to have your character act like a Miqo'te and flail your arms around. It isn't even account wide. A standard sub to play the game with 40 characters is £8.99.

But that isn't even what I find the most ridiculous, it's the fact that we have an Far Eastern themed expansion coming out, with players understandably hyped and wanting to get into the spirit of the pack, and everything that has been released so far with any sort of "Asian" theme has been lobbed onto the Mog Station for ludicrous prices. I actually thought, naively, as I saw the pictures first, the Fuga (Fugah? Fungah!) set was a Gold Saucer prize or an event item. There isn't any reason it couldn't be, apart from SE's greed and player gullibility. You're already making plenty of money from the Matriarch set, the Eastern Dance, the Magpie and the Eastern Garb set - we couldn't have two glamour items to celebrate Stormblood coming out that didn't cost more than our sub?

I'm sure this will be met with the usual "SE is a business!!! what do you expect!!", "they're always going to do this so get over it" etc. etc., and you're perfectly right, SE is a business! As such, they respond to sales - and ploys that lead to poor sales don't get repeated. This doesn't cross the mind of the Balmung or the Idyllshire crowds, however, who'd buy the glamour sets if they cost £20 just to have the newest items to stand around and AFK in. And because of this, we're now at the point where we're being charged higher prices for half an outfit and a re-vamped existing emote. Congratulations, you've surely shown us grouchers!
