Please don't take away our accessory glamours in 4.0!

When accessories become role locked in 4.0, we will lose many of our favorite glamours!

Like the stylish Allagan accessories which have unique colors for different roles; it would be very upsetting to have most of them taken away. And Crafters/Gatherers would lose access to these and other glamours entirely.

Accessories should stay freely glamourable like they are today, regardless of role locks.

Please help make the Item team aware that they will make many players unhappy if this happens.

This could be easily solvable by just making accessories dyeable considering they're almost always just a palette swap of colors.

Most dyed gear looks horrible with the accents turning to puke shades.
That will not make players happy; what we want is to keep the beautiful glamour accessories we've been using since 2.x.

Are they changing the requirements on existing accessories, or just making the new ones introduced in SB locked to a particular role?

In either case, the best solution would be to allow glamour of anything other than AF to ignore the class/job requirements for actually equipping the gear. I'm still hoping they do that eventually (so long as AF doesn't get thrown in along with it as some people have actually requested ).

People think they are changing old gear; I got that impression also from something Yoshi said but forget his words. To be less confusing for new players or some such I think..

Sounds dangerously possible they might blindly restrict everything and lose our glamours in the process.
