Retainer Job Change Potion?

With the introduction of boost potions for MSQ and player jobs I figure the trend is going to continue. What are the thoughts on potions that would let you change your retainer's jobs without losing their levels? You'd still have to have leveled that job yourself to that point. Is it something you would only be willing to pay gil for like a retainer fantasia currently is, or would you use the Mog Station for it?

This doesn't prevent you from participating in current content though, unlike leveling a job. Feels like you're just reaching....

I would just have them change back to level 1 and work on getting back up to max. Sounds like a shortcut for something that's completely optional that people don't want to work on.

Nowhere was boosting retainers mentioned. It was about changing their job to another job you also have at 60/70. All this would do is allow you to essentially change the outfits on the retainers for combat jobs.

It be the same as us just doing one class to max, switching class and keeping the level. Same thing as a level up potion just from another perspective. Now keeping alternate class levels so you can switch between them would be a plus. I have 8 retainers 3 miners 2 botanist, 1 fisherman, 1 DRG and 1 DRK. an alternate character just for fun and extra materials. With that I'm cover wish they would increase amount of materials gathered though to 30 of any. Now if they were to allow 8 man raids with retainers or even dungeons that would be interesting. Then again I think their planning to do that with squads.

One is a miner, one is a PLD, that covers all my needs as far as sending them out for mats and things. Just don't change the job maybe? All you need is a Gatherer and a DoW/M. Just level them and leave them.

Maybe as a lucky item from Retainer exploration. And it will only transfer 25% of the current level to the new job.
