Don't toss your T2 STR materia, I will buy them!

Working on making an M5 pair of gloves and I need all the T2 STR materia I can get. If you have any, please don't drop them, I will buy.

Currently purchasing grade 2, 3 and 4 T2 STR materia (+7, +8 and +10 STR)

Paying 20k a piece

I'm also interested in T3 STR and T3 ATT materia, but I think I can just rely on the market wards to get these. In total, I estimate ~1500 3000 T2 STR materia required to make these gloves.

Any help is appreciated! Please, /tell me in game ^^

Edit: It seems my math was a bit off. Overall, it should take about 1500 pairs of gloves to make the final product, which means a whopping 3000 T2 STR materia! ><

I've decided to publish my progress on the forums for those who are interested. I will update them each time I perform more melds (I'll be doing 10-25 melds in one sitting). If any of you are wondering why I'm taking this approach instead of just testing my luck and trying M2 > M3 > M4 > M5 on each glove seperately, it's because forbidden materia is supposed to be meant for hardcore players, not gamblers.

Goal: STR II + STR II + STR III + ATT III + ATT III

Start date: November 21, 2011 Updated 11/29/11

STR II used: 152
ATT II used: 14
STR III used: 34
ATT III used: 4

M2 Gloves created: 28
M3 Gloves created: 4

I think you should keep going till you have something like 50 M2 gloves. Then try and meld all of those, and maybe you'll end up with about 7 M3 gloves. Keep going again till you have 50 M3 and so on...

Yep, that's basically how I'm doing this.

20 M2 attemps at once
20 M3 attemps at once
10 M4 attemps at once
5-10 M5 attemps at once

I'm sitting at about 25 str II materia now, so I'll hopefully be doing my next M2 batch tomorrow, if I can get enough materia by then.

Less risk, sure. But definitely not better product.

Max with 2x T4:
60 ATT / 40STR / 20STR + 30ATT

Max with T2, T2, T3, T3, T3:
35STR + 50ATT

Plus there's the novelty of having an M5 item lol.

i think i made the silliest pair of culottes, and couldnt break them even adding on 5 materia
