To answer your question, I have no desire to pay for more retainers, as I feel that is rewarding the devs for poor design. I simply live within the limit provided. I'm sorry I don't have a better solution for you.
I personally dislike the inventory expansion. They should have added more structured organization to the inventory system:
1. Glamour Wardrobe - I think most people know what this is, but basically you have an interface that lists every unlockable glamour in the game and you either have it unlocked or not, and it takes up 0 inventory space. You simply apply the skin to your gear.
2. Token wallet - we have a ridiculous amount of random tokens. Basically, 2 out of 4 pages of my inventory are useless tokens (i.e. pages for Alexander, primal tokens, beast tribe tokens, etc.) These should just be in a wallet, similar to gil and tomestones.
3. Resource wallet - gathered resources should be placed in an auto-sorted by type/name resource wallet.
After those changes, our inventories should actually be reduced.
Imagine the current system is someone's apartment. It's a small studio apartment, and the problem is that we have so much junk that it's just all over the floor. The dev's team solution of providing us a bigger wallet is the equivalent of providing you with a larger apartment. That's not a solution. What we need is structure/organization (i.e. like closets, dresser etc.)
I was going to post something then read this, It covers it all, so i'll just quote it instead.![]()
