It's for glamour, but it's practically useless for that as nothing really goes well with it. Still don't understand why they even bothered with it, if they didn't intend to make a full set.

You can use it on current pvp before stormblood hits as healer if you dont have the field commander body yet, it gives intelligence, current magic damage is based on intelligence and you can not use cleric stance on pvp, so by going full commander with protoultima mesh body and int accessorizes make u a offensive healer, for those "i must dps as healer or uninstall the game". It can be interesting on frontlines, not suggested on the ranked mode unless you're a god of this game pvp and luck is with u.
