Theme Song on Login Screen

if you dont like the theme of the crystals (and all of it's remixes in ffxiv) i have bad news for you, that theme IS final fantasy, as much as some don't like it, it is one of the staple songs throughout the franchise as a whole (and is as recognisable as the chocobo theme), you can mute your games audio or use windows (if your a pc player) to mute the application if it is truly a nuisance.

My main issue is when reading patch notes and video content shared by Square Enix.

The first part of the song is the iconic intro of FFVII. I can remember like it was yesterday. The addition to it (to me) sounds annoying.

I haven't been able to find a way to turn it off on my PS4.

Btw, if you're going to be cheeky, please don't bother responding to my posts. I'm fairly certain I've tried everything I could possibly think of regarding this thing and it still sullies my patch-reading, video-watching experience in FFXIV.

You can pull up the patch notes on your phone, or mobile device, (assuming you have one). Then you don't have to stay at the title screen.
An alternative would be to mute BGM (background music) under settings, but that turns off all music, so you'll have to turn it back on once logged in.

I dont have a problem with it. Its a main theme, and most of the time if I want to watch something shared by the team I will watch it via phone or other means.

this could be a neat little addition, have the option to change it to older ones or even have it "toggle" to a random one on loading etc =D

Why are some of these responses so negative? IsraelAbraham did not ask for your opinion on his question, he asked for your opinion about the theme song! Do you feel it's necessary to attack him and call him names as one person did? Yes I find all the SE music so, so annoying. It's garbage and I would rather not to have to listen to any of it. I do have the music turned off in the game and I listen to my own music. I wish there was a way to turn off the music and the trailer because it's also very annoying. Let the negative responses to my reply begin.
