AOE Spells - Can they be renamed? "Thunderga" rater then II and IV?

For example with Thunder II and now IV, they are AOE spells, Fire II is also an AOE spell, but Fire IV isn't...

Back when 2.0 launched Yoshi-P talked about why they were Fire II, III rather then the ga, ra etc... but perhaps we could see them return for 4.0???

Seems the even numerator on some abilities is off, from others, and having it with a different name like:
Thunderga
Thunderga II

Would work better, as well as going forward?

I can agree with this. I mean it does make it sound like the powers are growing instead of just being replaced. Maybe just me though, but never been a fan of the whole "Fire 2/3/4" I'd like to assume we are all big boys and girls and can check the tool tip and not get confused. xD

Not to mention I'm pretty sure we're the ONLY region that does numbered naming. What is this FF1? We've long since moved passed this.

I mean, there is a lot of FF7 influence. (at least we avoided "Bolt")

What in particular is FF7-ish? I don't know much about it. We do have holy and meteor which wasn't a thing in FF7. The gold saucer I guess? I wouldn't say a mini-game area is super iconic though.

The localization for VII used numbers, but the Japanese also used the ra-ga thing.
