U saying that I don't have to pay again for another 8 retainers?

So my main and only character shares all retainers? So if I create other characters with retainers it won't affect the other character's retainers?

When I got my retainers for my alts, it said I had up to the total retainers I already had available on my main which I purchased, so to my amazement, if you have 8 retainers on your main, your alts will too. This means with 8 characters and 8 retainers each, you get 64 retainers. 8 X 10 million is 80 million. 64 X 5 million is 320 million. 80 million + 320 million is 400 million.
