I agree with the bold part. The rest just seems unnecessarily callous...unless its between friends where you can have your ebil giggles legitimately.Or we can just kick the dps that constantly stands or gets hit by the aoe. Don't matter if the whm puts the dps there or not, in most cases now dps probably will blame the whm, even if that's not the truth. I would just not heal the dps that gets hit over and over, no matter if it's their own or the whm's fault. After that person died 3 times we will just vote kick that person for under performing. Then we will continue with using the skill as it was intended, wipe the group with yanking the tanks forth and back, waiting for a new dps to join that we can then torture etc. I wait years for that, I hope it will be as legendary as I can imaging it in my head right now.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

I seem to remember this same topic when Ninjas were given Shadewalker and Smokescreen when Heavensward came out. Those moves have great troll potential but I have never witnessed it happen, did it happen? sure probably, but its never been a problem. I would think a dps would attract bored trollish players but healers dont seem the type. At best its gonna be FC or static prank fodder.

I remember for like a week after HW was out FC parties would use it for shits and giggles but beyond that it's just used as intended - rescuing a healer from accidental enmity yanking and bolstering the tank's enmity during a burst phase.I seem to remember this same topic when Ninjas were given Shadewalker and Smokescreen when Heavensward came out. Those moves have great troll potential but I have never witnessed it happen, did it happen? sure probably, but its never been a problem. Words to live by.Expecting everybody to play the game the way you do is not a way to foster a pleasant experience for anybody.

This skill along with others, we've been asking for some sort of ways to cooperate with each other in battle. This is one of them. Now that we have something people don't want it. So we have one skill that connects two different players, so you will have the "it's your job!" arguments. These are people who aren't very good working as a team. I plan on using it to get the guy who is lagging out of a LoS so hopefully he can come back and keep going. Or a player that is standing there out on the edge doing nothing in 24 man raids because they're lazy and bring them into the icon to stack. Or help a new player who might miss a mechanic, they can die and we can possibly wipe or they can be saved and we can keep going. Either way they will hopefully learn, just one way doesn't involve us resetting.
Or this...yes this ends this topic. I forgot all about this. Good job end thread. Now come! You're needed elsewhere! The healers are making threads every 5 minutes about DPSing and it's worse than project meteor! They all want to know the same thing and don't know how to hit the edit button. They fear for their esuna! They can't grasp that Cleric Stance is no longer a stance and just a OCD. To some of them it's a total mind f*#k! Go..Warrior of Light. As for me, I'm going to go get coffee and a breakfast burrito. We all have our roles..this is mine.I seem to remember this same topic when Ninjas were given Shadewalker and Smokescreen when Heavensward came out. Those moves have great troll potential but I have never witnessed it happen, did it happen? sure probably, but its never been a problem. Good reminder though.
