Summoner glamour and their AF ...

I absolutely love the new AF gear, Though I do agree it looks very identical to the AF2, but I loved that gear too! To each their own, but I'm glad theres some armor that is a bit more flashy and not so boring like all the caster gear we've been getting. I, for one, am stoked for this AF gear. I've loved this more primal, tattered clothing, toga style they are getting because I think it goes with the wildness of the summoner that I imagine ^_^

First AF is perfect, Iconic Summoner clothes with the green color scheme and orange horn (+ wings)

Second AF is like a greek/draconic version of the first, with biger horn and wings (Remind me of Eiko, loved it <3) and white/blue color scheme

Third AF is.... Ahh.... I just don't know how to describe it.... such small horn (what?), no wings (what the..) and pretty ugly design... I just hated it.

Given your past post histories, I can't really take anything you say seriously. But nevertheless I thank you for your input. Since its an opinion and I asked for your opinions.

I am glad because at least someone recognizes sarcasm, however I do was serious and if you wouldn't read just the last 5 posts I've made, in topics that were already asking for a response like that, you would see that my history is actually pretty good.

But at the end, it doesn't have anything to do with anything, that's like the people that load the lodestone and tell you, that you're not allowed to answer or have an opinion on specific topics, because your character isn't that level etc. Not even taking in consideration that it might be not the main character.

So if me pointing out the obvious to some people, instead of agreeing with all their nonsense and bs half of the time is the issue, then I am glad I gave you my opinion. Take it serious or not, it still doesn't changes the fact that the AF gear is and was horrible, in my personal opinion.

Well, I am glad I am not alone in not liking AF2 and AF3, I just wish they had gone back to their roots for AF3. Another expansion missed.

But we got Bahamut, so screw it, LOL, I will be naked if it means I get to summon Bahamut for 15 second.

You're not alone, and its not just me either. Its why I had never even seen anyone in the AF2 before this thread.

You rarely if ever saw the Summoner AF2, in fact I still haven't seen anyone wearing it or glamoring with it.

One would think they would not be bone headed enough to make the same mistake twice. Its readily apparently over the entire time I've been in this game that no one wears the SMN AF2 or even glamors with it. I DO still see people Glamoring and Wearing the AF1 set though.

The Caller's set is my favorite AF design in the game. I also liked the Evoker's/Summoner's sets as well, but Caller's has an aesthetic I enjoy more (white and gold color scheme, Grecian-looking, angel wings). I would wear the Caller's set more often if I didn't have to consider my Black Mage's glamour as well. If there is ever a day where glamour is tied to the job soulstone rather than gear, I'll definitely be donning the Caller's set more.

As for the design of the newest Summoner AF, I have more positive thoughts than negative. I like the silhouette, even if it is akin to the Caller's set. I very much like the color scheme they chose. My only complaint is that it lacks small details and adornments that were so prevalent in the previous AFs. I find the white waistcoat and white sleeves a bit boring and would have liked to have seen perhaps silver metal trim on them like in the Evoker's/Summoner's sets.

I have liked all the summoner gear ;-; I was maining summoner during af2 and I definitely couldn't wait to get each piece.

Of the three AF so far, I prefer the ARR set on my character, though I admit I haven't used it since glamour was introduced. Don't get me wrong though - I think that the AF2 looked good on the femroe in the HW benchmark, for instance - I just don't think it works well on my character.
