Summoner glamour and their AF ...

... I enjoyed the first AF. It looked summonerish, and iconic to final fantasy series. Green with the red horn.

The second AF, I was truly disgusted to say the least, WTH? It looks like a hippie/dancer/homeless set up.

I was hoping for the return to the iconic look come AF3, but I think the same designer designed the AF3 as AF2.

In contrast, they really messed up the SCH looks in AF2 with the whole mr.peanut get up, but they fixed it in AF3. Why couldn't they do it for us?

What are you thoughts? Which get up you prefer? Also to make things interesting you can post pictures of your Summoner glamour.

All of them do look horrible to me and have absolute nothing to do with the job itself. But then again the smn job in itself has nothing to do with the actual smn, guess that balances that out then. However the upcoming AF sets (all jobs not just smn) are not going to excite me either in any way, because it's always the same, nothing unique or spectacular about it, but we do have glamour and that's something to be excited about. Maybe in 7.0 my characters will finally wear the actual armor, instead of having to glamour everything. We can hope.

I actually like the AF1 for Summoner.

I admit hid the Horn head gear though in the settings window. I never did like the Summoner Horn, it looked too wierd for my tastes.

I mean the Summoner AF1 is exactly according to the traditional FF Summoner and exactly like it, if you know the original Summoners concept from the games. And I thought the trenchcoat was really sharp looking.

I never even bothered with AF2 so I can't say.

These days I glamor using the Gambler's Trenchcoat over the Shire gear, its actually Setzer's outfit from FF6, and not technically traditional Summoner gear... but I happen to like FF6 a lot. Its one of my favorites.

Summoner is the odd ball job in the series since there was only a few titles that had a true summoner job. The only real design is the horn and green colored clothes. But yea, it looks like more of the same from HW. They could have tried something different.

Given your past post histories, I can't really take anything you say seriously. But nevertheless I thank you for your input. Since its an opinion and I asked for your opinions.

Woah, really? Lets just agree to disagree. I wish I was like you, then could enjoy AF3. As of right now AF3 not that appealing to me.

Hehe, I even went so far to dye my AF2 set metallic green. It gives the fabric a nice satin feel to it.



I love how it looks like this, while I'm not a fan of the set with the white default colour at all. I guess SMN needs to be green to work for me? xP What I've seen so far of the AF3 I like it less than AF2, but maybe in (metallic) green...? Or maybe the horn's not big enough for me... Oh! I know! It needs a double horn on the head! Loki-style!

I prefer the summoner AF1 too. Looks like a summoner. I was highly disappointed with the heavensward summoner af when I first got it. It did grow on me, but Imstill prefer the original. I glamour it on my shire gear a lot.

First AF is perfect, Iconic Summoner clothes with the green color scheme and orange horn (+ wings)

Second AF is like a greek/draconic version of the first, with biger horn and wings (Remind me of Eiko, loved it <3) and white/blue color scheme

Third AF is.... Ahh.... I just don't know how to describe it.... such small horn (what?), no wings (what the..) and pretty ugly design... I just hated it.

I'd like the AF sets more, if the augmented versions could be stored in the armoire.
