You're fine. I'm not trying to marginalize you or disregard your feelings about level boost potions or anything. I was pretty put off when games like WoW added them, but over the years and many games I've played, I've just come to expect it. Square Enix is a business, and level boost potions help make money. More revenue means more shiny things for us to enjoy and longer lifespan of the game. It really does not impact my gameplay experience if other people skip a week of level grind, so no use stressing over it. I hope you and your friends won't give up on the game, as there's still so much more for you to see and experience.
I still plan on playing the new expansion for a few months minimum for two reasons. 1) In my opinion, until these boosts and shit, FF14 was the highest quality MMORPG on the market right now and 2) Other games have attracted communists and kids who bitch and cry that they want our content easier and quicker and more accessible without actually working for anything. FF14 isn't even close to that yet so I'm still good here. Good community

From your posts it seems you have built up XIV to be something in your head that it's not. FFXIV has some very easy content - about 6 fights per tier are considered hard (4 raid fights, 2 trials) and they literally shower you with gear and nerfed content every few months to increase accessibility. The devs try their best to keep everyone as near to current content as possible regardless of their skill level.I still plan on playing the new expansion for a few months minimum for two reasons. 1) In my opinion, until these boosts and shit, FF14 was the highest quality MMORPG on the market right now and 2) Other games have attracted communists and kids who bitch and cry that they want our content easier and quicker and more accessible without actually working for anything.
