A question about the mentor system and jump potions

One of the requirements for becoming a mentor is to have at least one job from each of the three roles at level 60. When the level jump potions are added to the game, are people going to be able to buy their way out of this requirement? Or is the requirement going to change to having a job from each of the roles that advanced to 60 without use of a level jump?

(And yes, I know there would still be the other requirements of 1000 dungeon runs and 300 commendations or whatever it is, but neither of those requirements address the issue of needing to have played as all three roles. Only the leveling requirement specifies tank, healer, and DPS.)

No... not at least in the beginning since you can only buy one jump potion per service account. I imagine if/when this changes, so will the requirements be changed as needed.

Since you can skip MSQ you could realistically become a mentor in a couple of days. MSQ is the biggest hurdle of the crafting/gathering requirements.

I mean, it's possible to get every job in the game to 60 before you hit 1000 dungeons on a new character, so I guess if someone wants to spend $75 to get a tank/healer/dps to 60 (which should be even easier to do the normal way after SB if they increase armory bonus exp again) and then spam the shortest instanced place they can find 1000 times... I dunno why anyone would want to be a mentor that badly.

Guessing they'll increase the level requirement to 70 at any rate (and current mentors would be grandfathered in), but who knows.

New requirements will be a proctored exam where you have to beat all the Primal Extremes in a PUG of all sprouts, two are watching netflix on the other monitor, you may only use PvP chat commands, one hand tied behind your back, and every death will play the voice track sloppy.

Then you can move to the preliminary permit phase, where if you've completed your relic(s) for all your jobs you may be approved for a mentorship status. Your status will be temporarily revoked if you do not finish the current end game raid set one week after release. If you do not receive all the available commendations on all content whether your status is active or not your status will be temporarily revoked. A status revoked more than twice will result in a permanent ban. Please look forward to it

Don't forget that if you insta-leave a dungeon as a mentor you get permabanned from the game.

Oh right, definitely! In fact if you unqueue while other members are in the queue with you, that is automatically a temporary suspension~ Just to make sure they're going to really stick with it. We don't need to remind mentors that if you receive AFK status while in a duty, even if people are waiting for cooldowns or it is the 2min PvP window, that you'll be kicked immediately, and that counts as leaving of course, naturally :3.

How will a jump potion affect this, you still need to complete 1000 instances and receive 300 commendations, people that pay to skip levels wont have the attention span to even do 1000 instances let alone get 300 commendations.

and more than likely, the requirement will go up to level 70.
