I too worry that it's going to be an entirely different job. The cast times never bothered me on mch because you had multiple ways to ignore them. Besides the casts fit thematically with gauss barrel. It's effectively an electro-magnetic rail gun so you're charging it up to accelerate the bullet. I feel a lot of the new animations don't fit well either. At least I liked what I saw with rdm so if I end up not liking mch I still have that.
I hope we don't loose our torrent....
even though I got my MCH to ilvl 270 lately ill never was active in MCH endgame yet - but I like the cls in generell ^^

well I hated the cast dor MCH so happy they gone...................if they want everything to feel like they did when they are level 50 -----guess what- cast times have to go or put cast times on everything. I'm glad they chose the former and this makes SB awesome IMO

i doubt torret is removed. especially that they have their own special models and effects for single target (rook) aoe (bishop). however, we have no idea how hypercharge will be and whats the use of promotion. since promotion is pretty much replaced by the new Role cross class skills Refresh and Tactician. (they seem to work similar to Report and Manasong currently pvp skills. in the video the bard used Refresh and Mch used Tactician).
what we know from the vid:
1) Gauss Barrel: gives new job specific meter. Heat Meter. seems that some skills might be locked behind how much heat you have. the player kept it at 50%. so assuming 50% is what you want to keep the balance.
2) new aoe move Flamethrower: builds heat meter fast.
3) weapon skills build heat meter.
4) there is a move used that lowers the heat meter.
5) Reload/Quick Reload will work exactly like Aetherflow from the looks of it.
6) spend bullets to use 3 new added skills (just like how smns use bane, fester and painflare). all are offgcd.
7) wildfire functions as before... i dont see any change.
8) new hack/analyze move. probably self buff?. after the mch used it. their heat meter remained unchanged. so you use it to hold/fix the meter to use all your gcds/offgcds without gaining any heat for a wildfire combo.
my main concern. No Raging strikes... no hawks eye... no b4b.![]()


I think next xpac SE should just introduce 0 new mechanic, no revamp and should get rid of heat gauge, basically bring all class back to the good old 2.0 day where a macro could do the job fine
Something like this could solve your main concern
72 - Super Bullet : Your next bullet skill does 100% more dmg
74 - Hyper Turret : Your turret deals 100% more dmg for 15sec
76 - Headshot : Your critical hit deal 100% more dmg for 15sec
78 - Bionic eye : Your true hit chance increase by 50% for 15sec
80 - Old formula - Raging Strike, Hawkeye and b4b combined, 15sec.
trolling appart, not having access to 3 "bigger numbers for 15sec" skills is your main concern about the new mch?
That's assuming there is still something like ammo proc.
It seems to be more in line with eatherflow from SMN so far.

mch and bard seem to be the most changed out of all jobs. (and scholar looked pretty different playstyle). yet they just skipped over them -_-
