    Exactly, that's the thing. Sure, Protect, Divine Seal, Cleric's Stance and Esuna are being taken out of the base kit, but if it works as it does right now (one new skill/trait with every 2 levels in the class, similar with the job) those skills will be replaced with new abilities. So at Level 6 when you would have gotten Cleric's Stance, what will you get instead? Etc.

    Frankly, I think WHM has a lot more room for growth if a lot of their skills are moving to cross-class. You'll just have to wait and see what they are being replaced with.
