    Just wondering, will the "Dated" gear return with new recipes?

    I think I vaguely remember reading in a Letter from the Producer saying that older recipes will be reformed like how the new ones are.

    I love my Velveteen Shirt (Red) for example.

    But it looks like Woolen Shirt (Red) will be my new favorite (if it's the same as Penelope's in Gridania's Adventurers' Guild) :P.

    If you mean, will current "dated" gear have new recipes for the non-dated version of the same item then yes. For instance:

    Dated Hempen Coif will have its recipe changed and that recipe will simply make Hempen Coif.

    I don't know if every currently "Dated" item will have an equivalent new recipe but a great deal do.

    Velveteen Shirt is getting a recipe update however currently red is not one of the available colors.
