P2W isn't really the problem, it's more that people will suddenly be lvl 60 in lvl 60 dungeons having no experience on their job. So if you think dungeons are bad now... oooo boy...
(for the level skip potion that is, the MSQ jump is just confusing b/c you're making a story focused MMO and letting people skip all the story but w/e)

You think they're gonna have a level boost potion and not give a walkthrough on how to play their class? They will.
Given the level 60 Dragoon I encountered recently in Sohr Kai that largely spammed Heavy Thrust and Impulse Drive?
It's not the jump potions that lead to a player not retaining information (or seeking it out in the first place), it's the player themselves.
Never said it was, but the person leveling from 1-60 (now 70) will at least have some chance of absorbing some amount of information by just doing the MSQ and the dungeons required. Someone who's level jumped to 60 will have a similar experience of potentially learning... but in lvl 60-70 dungeons... and with a lot more abilities to learn.

they only get the levels and there job quests done and basic level 60 gear everything else they get no tomestones and no gil, and there are 0 for stormblood or for the new jobs so you can't use it to insta level a sam or rdm to 60

I watched a live stream on twitch where they were discussing how people define P2W. The point is specially for older MMO players, leveling is suppose to weed out some players, If a player can't get through the grind of content it is one less person at the end/win. They discussed it a lot better. Player retention in 11 showed most players never made it to 50. So they in no way could win, they quit. They may have been better players. But you can't win if you don't play.
