You don't buy both if you want to skip Heavensward MSQ. Buying the HW potion will skip all the ARR ones, too.

Someone who want to skip the whole lv1-60 MSQ have to only buy the Heavensward boost item, not both.

Cant wait for Savage level gear to be put on the mogstation. Itleast now it will be legit pay to win goto SE over people selling savage runs for rmt.

Just do Alex Savage unsynched once you reach lv 70

Surprised they arent doing the thing wow did where they gave everyone 1 potion free. My SO really wanted these for her alts that she loved to play but couldn't get to in Heavensward due to work. Will probably just level my classes in my off time since $25 to skip 50-60 is a bit high for a class I rarely play. They do have a point about the MSQ getting in the way of new friends joining older players tho.

They don't want to encourage its use. It is an option. Perhaps come 5.0 it will be included, but right now there isn't enough MSQ to warrant it being free.

Good they adding them, All those general MMO players can just skip everything and go straight to their "end game" and don't have to listen to them complain about having to do the story.

Got some friends I can try and get into FFXIV now. The long grind of MSQ turned them off initially but I encouraged them to try it that way.
