Yeah it's more role based PvP, like GW2 where you went in as lets say a Guardian and your HP would be X amount just like an elementalist had X amount of HP, tanks will have 12500, healers/casters like 10k, melee probably 11k so we'll see when PvP actually comes which i'm surprisingly excited for more PvP as the Garo event revitalized my love for Frontlines.

The bold is not relevant anyway once 4.0 hits, he even said "gear is only for looks"
Also people can still bypass ilevel by high right (eaiser gear to get) with low left. Hope this means no crafting and gathering gear for combat jobs.
My issue was you claiming "if the game lets you enter it's not a problem". Which is why I posted that example in my last post, which you didn't comment on for some reason, about Queueing as a tank for level 60 dungeons with full crafting gear and healing accessories on.
This is a tank queueing for a dungeon wearing all crafting gear and healing accessories and level 50 weapon going into level 60 content. The game let me do it. So I guess it isn't a problem?
You believe if the game let him enter then there is no problem and that there is only a problem if he changes gear inside the instance, but in the end you are just ignoring the fact that the reason for this thread is the fact that he could actually queue with that weapon (I checked on my BLM and equipping an i110 weapon only brought me down to i240), or he could switch to it inside the duty, and BOTH scenarios are a problem.
I have concerns.
Mostly Glamor concerns.
I hope all the future accessories will share aesthetics, so they aren't locked from use just because you're a different job.
I also hope this isn't retroactive, there are some accessories I like the looks of but they have looks that vary based on which job they are designed for.
The allegan ones in particular.
I liked how those looked, and there are different colored ones, which are locked into specific jobs having a specific color.
I'd hate to have my accessory color locked just because I'm on a job that SE decided that's what that job has to use.
This is a change I gladly welcome. Too many times have I seen players with incorrect right sides doing high level stuff, this would be a nice wake-up call for them.

Goodbye replacing crappy healers in old content by using my usually better healing accs on blm/smn.
Also reduces the ability to buff your hp when you gear is barely making ilvl, or turning a dps into an OT easier by using tank accs...
Indifferent on this issue really, tho its gunna cause nightmares for the glamour system. Well maybe itll accelerate work on a revamp of that system when it inevitably makes inventory issues even worse.
