With Thin Air, Assize, and a buffed Lucid Dreaming, and the MP cost reduction to our DPS skills, WHMs are the better hybrid healer now, even more so than scholar in 3.0.

WHM have always had bigger DPS numbers, its just that our MP management prevent us from doing so.
In 4.0 now all shackles have been broken and you can honestly DPS to your heart's content without worrying about your MP (Thin Air + PoM = 5 Holies = 12000 MP saved).

I do hope for a PI buff as well as a slight tweak to lilies, instead of consuming all stacks and reduce the CD based on amount of stacks, just let us be able to store 3 charges, one charge is expended to provide a CDR of say.... 10%, doing so will most likely allow most competent WHMs to have consistent 10% CDR on all their skills, and thus be able to plan for raid mechanics better.

Replace Divine Bension with an ability that changes based on our current lilys.

3 lilys: The next single target heal will instantly stack 3 confessions on the target, or the next aoe heal will stack 1 confession on every person hit, then the skill goes on a 30 to 40 second CD

But... Confession stacks don't come into play until lv. 70. So either 3 lillies would be useless until then, for this ability, or it would need an additional effect.

The Order in that the skills are obtained could be changed, like getting the fetch on 66, PI on 68 and the lily burner at 70
Also, the CDR based on lilys would stay. Because we would have more lilys to use.
And if i would have to think of a addition to the effect: If the next casted spell is Regen, its duration gets doubled (Something like that, more love for Regen)

This is the problem Yoshi.P himself even said he never designed WHM to be a DPS, raid and static groups who are expecting a healer to dps are doing it wrong if the groups DPS needs a healer to contribute due to the dps lacking lol. Why are people rolling a WHM if they want to dps? Half of these newbs are doing so only for fast dungeon queue times and it becomes evident when the other WHM has to carry them thru healing raid content (experienced first hand) considering WHM does not have the mp5 regen even with assize for dps'ing.

I mean.... if you don't wanna DPS, I wont' judge, but you should love WHM now right? because since you're not DPSing, you're healing 24/7, you should get all the lilies and get awesome 20% CDR for every skill.

Though I am just going to point out that WHM has plenty of MP regen to handle DPS, especially now.

only times i ever dps'd with WHM was during leveling and class story quests once in dungeons and raids I let you know the DPS do their job and if they couldn't and the group failed to poor dps I just /leave the instance or static until the dps become competant A healer is just that pure healing but again I guess that comes from H mode raiding in WoW for 8 years and on here before it started leaning more to casuals who cant learn their class properly huh .

That's an unfortunate attitude, but I agree with the others that the DPS debate derails this thread every time it comes up.

In this case it's honestly appropriate to discuss it. One of the complaints people have with WHM is what the WHM offers to the party and the WHM offers more personal DPS than other healers. Funny part is I've watched groups clear Susano EX with 3+ balances pulled throughout the fight. And guess what? The WHM(me) + SCH groups I've been in still have killed it faster. Perhaps there's sense to all the madness? People are just claiming numbers they have absolutely no idea about. I'm not saying the WHM is op , but the WHM can absolutely hold its own.

I still really hate PI though, lol. That thing could use a bit of work.
