I dunno, plenty of people would probably prefer to take an experienced WHM over an FOTM AST reroller.
Also, there are a million reasons to choose WHM over CNJ, so why even bring that up? Just because one very good farm group managed to do it all as classes with Echo off doesn't mean suddenly everyone should start doing stuff as classes.

It's "viable". I'm not sure if it will still be possible come Stormblood or if you're gonna be forced into jobs, but if it's still possible, please do not complain if people in your group don't unlock their job. Even Savage content can be cleared in classes and it's perfectly viable.
....to be fair...they are sitting on max gear :P. still very coool!!! I think it's fair to say not every raid group (among the ones that consistently clear) can pull this off with no shields, no regens, no divine veil (they have mantra*), no shroud, no benediction, no fey-anything, no fairy, no ast buffs, no excessive cure spam (both healers have decent dps uptime) and no echo...

I am aware that heavy nerfs will come this week, but I'd like to suggest some skills:
- Shell: Yes, Shell. Why not let WHM have an magic damage barrier in the form of Shell? On FF series, it was always the White Mage's responsibility to put up Protect and Shell.
- Quicken: That's a Time Magic that could level WHM with the cleric classes on other MMORPGs. The effect could grant Haste, reduction to all attack times and increased movement speed for a given time.
- Bravery/Valor: This is a White Magic that first appeared on Final Fantasy IV. It increases the physical damage or the buffed character's stength.
- Dispel: It could cancel every buff that is in effect on the target. It is a White Magic that first appeared on the first Final Fantasy.
- Slow: A Time Magic to slow down the target.
And I hope that Break can actually turn the enemy into a stone?
Was Merged into protect a long time ago, back when ARR first launched. Not a fan of this, and really just an extra button..
Could be good if balanced correctly. Take off the movement speed tho, not really needed, and just call it Haste, for ease of purpose.
I'm on the fence here. It would need a reasonably long CD to be balanced. The actual Balance card is pretty rng, and this as a spell or ability would dwarf it pretty harshly if the CD was to short.
This could actually be really useful, but the draw back to this is that when debuffs come down, its usually only 1 debuff. Maybe making it an AoE cleanse would be better?
NOPE!! Satus effects only work in niche situations and adding this would just be another button to add to the "I don't even need this on my bar.".

My post was expression of how people feel please calm down don't take it seriously. I personally don't care about the changes but others do and feel Yohsi has screwed up again. Can't blame them for not wanting to wait until 70 after looking at the past.

Had they given us arise or raise II I feel like that would have worked or haste
I'm not going to add too much more theorycraft since early release is in two days and I'll probably revisit the numbers once release build hits (or we get patch notes). Here are my wish list desires for WHM on release and let's see how wrong I am.
- Regen casts and HoT ticks have the ability to proc Confession stacks (25-35% rate)
- Stone, Aero, and Regen casts have the ability to generate a Lily (20% rate)
- Either higher recast reduction bonuses or better bonus effects on Lily usages (Divine Benision giving a higher shield depending on # of Lilies, Tetra granting a damage mitigation buff for a period of time, Asylum granting haste to anyone in the bubble, anyone hit by Assize getting a 5% of their HP shield of infinite duration, etc.)
- A trait that reduces Largesse recast to 60s (and maybe increase the bonus potency to a total of 30%)
In theory with the way WHM is currently designed it should have the largest effective MP pool of the three healers, I'd almost argue you wouldn't need Largesse given the amount of oGCD heals they have too. I'm looking forward to pounding out SB with WHM after looking at the kit. Give it a few more ways to increase the overall kit synergy and you have a force to be reckoned with.
