Can someone tell me what exactly does WHM get to replace all the abilities we lost? Do we get new abilities to compensate for the pre-60 skills we no longer have or are no longer unique to us?

Our Fluid aura lost its damage. Benediction has a 3 minute cd instead of 5. Thats all I remember maybe someone else remembers.

How do you fall asleep with Thin Air + 5 Holy, the best burst aoe damage in the game? Every single speed run group is going to favor WHM over the other two.

What the hell happened? SE used to be so good at balancing this stuff, bit WHM is so underwhelming it's laughable.

They've never been good. If they had been they would have nerfed SCH and WAR like long time ago.

Part of it just tells me they've given up. I've already discussed with my raid team that I'll switching to SCH and my co healer will be going AST because we believe that our team will benefit more from the utility more than from the healing. Now if I had it my way completely I would just main Samurai, but my team still needs a healer so I'm going to roll with it for now. We'll still level up WHM just in case, but I don't see us ever needing to use it.

Honestly, I think it's more they have no idea how we actually play jobs. For them, White Mage just healing is perfectly fine. It only needs to heal! Even if Astro utterly demolishes it now. Perhaps this will be the wake up call the devs need because White Mage usage will drop severely now. There's... just no reason to play it anymore. At least, not in progression content.
