    I like how Lillies are being implemented into PvP. Where you actually use Cure I and Cure IIs more often. I also like the 50% CDR as a Band-Aid fix, and I also Like how protect is PvP Mitigation. PvP Whm looks so much better then its PvE counterpart. I would still like some more free control of Lillies but PvP Whm looks like its in a really strong place.

    I just hope the Lily mechanic is fined tuned for Raiding, and Casual content as well. If you still only get Lilies from Cures then I don't know if we would even get more then 1 or 2 Lillies in dungeons. As for CDR its still meh.

    Now my only concern for PvP Whm is how will they handle burst passed 10 seconds. Schs got faeries for easy healing and a Gcd Aldo and Succors and Astros got a instant shield (if its 300% jfc).
    Before you could Stoneskin as a gcd, or Presence Stoneskin. You could also Stoneskin everyone before a fight.

    I'm honestly disappointed with the healer situation. SE claimed to want to balance the healers, but it seems clear that one is coming out above the rest (AST) while another seems fairly subpar (WHM). SCH sits awkwardly between the two. I was excited to hear that Cleric Stance was gone so that I could DPS even more reliably, but then I saw healers were losing a fair amount of DPS skills. Then the WHM changes were revealed and I was super disappointed. The AST changes rubbed me the wrong way, as well, because it's like SE feels they have to cater to the job just because it was weak at the beginning of Heavensward.

    I have all three healers at 60, but I don't have much interest in leveling any of them right now. Mostly because I'm just disappointed in how things have gone. Especially since, unless the new content will be dishing out way more damage, healers are going to be really boring to play.To be honest, I didn't like WHM for a long time. I played AST a lot and SCH the most. But recently I started to love playing WHM and was looking forward to leveling it first in Stormblood... Until I saw the changes.

    Don't get me started about addle. Playing healer without Virus/Disable feels way less tactical.

    Just dropping by for a daily reminder to the SE devs - why would raiders bring a WHM when we could have The Balance and Chain Stratagem?

    I'm just going to finally throw a post onto here just to include my own feedback towards S-E.

    I'm personally okay with the currently known WHM design. While I understand the current known information contradicts the current optimized healer play, the idea of having a small cure snow ball into larger cures and abilities is appealing. To me, Cure proccing Confession, Lily, and/or Freecure which then leads to more effects and decision making trees that WHMs can do at lower cost and knowing how to optimize the randomness of the WHM kit for both the fight and player aptitude definitely has it's draws - very similar to how optimizing for Card choices for AST was good before "BALANCE OR NOTHING" hit the table.

    My main gripe is less about White Mage in the currently known iteration and more about the potency numbers and buffs AST is getting. When I first saw the White Mage tool kit, I wasn't excited but I was most certainly intrigued by the thought of it and wanted to wrap my head around how to optimize the work. But then I saw the AST changes and it basically just crapped all over the other healers - why play WHM (or perhaps even SCH) when AST can do things better and be much more streamlined at the same time?

    While I would like to see minor tweaks to the Lily system, I would prefer much more if S-E can start to scale back what AST has to offer. If the currently known potencys and tooltips go live, I would absolutely lose faith in the S-E dev team at their ability to balance Healers effectively.

    On a positive note, anyone else feel like WHM will be the best healer for 4-man dungeons? I think the off-cooldown heals and aoe damage potential/sustain will work out great for that.

    Disagree with that. Holy is huge no doubt, but assize, asylum, regen , medica 2 , tetra and benediction are huge too. And they all work well together.

    Far more than Holy: After Regen on the tank give them all a Medica 2 (if needed + Asylum) as a general safeguard, toss your Aero 3 into the big trash pull, mop it up with 3 x Holy (first swiftcast) while those Aero-ouchies tick, and finish with a nice Assize for what little is still standing after this (if your two DPS weren't asleep on the wheel), in one go regaining MP and healing what little damage was not covered by your medica 2/asylum/regen and those Holy stuns. And if for some reason stuff went south during that nuke combo you have tetra or even bene to save the tank from hitting the floor.

    WHM might lose what little place it had in raiding even more now if changes stay as we saw, but for 4-man we are the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

    Seriously though... I have been doing little else but this combo for longer than I care to think about and by now I am at risk of falling asleep while being a Holy Hand Grenade... if you are relegated to only 4-man content in the feared DF hell of clusterfuck-roulette... eh. That alone won't keep me subscribed... not interested in being a speed accessory for everyone to get those tomes they gonna invest into initial raiding gear while I as a WHM... am a spent hand grenade left behind.
