Again this is a reportable offense. I don't give a rats ass if a player isn't playing meta. you don't kick them because of it.

It's been said by a GM that "playstyle differences" is a reason for a kick and as such is not actionable.

Yup, that is indeed correct. You can kick players out of parties if they are incompetent and be OK with the GM's as long as you don't verbally abuse them or harass them in the process.

You can also kick players because you dislike their glamour.

As long as you're not saying a word, anything goes.

Sorry but as a tank and a healer who isn't even at the bleeding edge of content, every time I've pubqueued with an "honest healer" has been goddamn miserable. Watching them stand around doing absolutely nothing while the rest of us are working to clear the instance is more than enough reason to kick them out. A good healer can decrease the run time by damn near 20-30%. That's not some insignificant number like it would be in WoW if the resto druid chucked lightning out on occasion. I'd do the same if I saw a bard not using minuet or a BLM casting nothing but ice spells. They are making my playtime less enjoyable through sheer obstinance.

I'm so happy, now i can finally DPS without worrying about the annoying "deactivate/activate cleric stance" process.
    THANK YOU SE!
I can already see how fun raiding is going to be now

We're looking at a solid 9% dps decrease otherwise, though, for better or worse. I still don't think that's going to make healer DPS any less valuable, and may well bring higher overall DPS output out of our more hesitant healers, but it'll be noticeable to say the least.
Based on your calculations, the whole stance dancing and the "oh shit moments" and the bugs with the stance, they did NOT contribute to any dps loss. I think the loss of the 10% to have permanent leeway to DPS anytime you desire even if it means just shooting of one dps skill in between your heals (something you could never do with stance dance because of the 10sec cooldown) does not mean overall 9% loss of DPS, if anything it means MORE DPS.

This would be my guess as well. If they don't touch potencies, this might even be a DPS gain since DPSing will be more seamless now. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Absolutely it does, assuming that potency is left near the same as being in cleric now. Either way, we have to keep in mind that adjustments to healer DPS can and likely will be made post launch in the upcoming patches. It may need to increase, or it may need to decrease. We will have to see.

DPSing healers will notice the significance of this change more than the ones who don't. Even thinking about it now, not having to worry about penalties to heals or damage spells only makes me feel even more powerful. Abilities like Assize will give full potencies of both damage and restoration now; you won't have to worry about if you are in cleric or not when casting an instant ability on the move; abilities like Tetra, Lustrate, Indom will no longer require two button presses for full effect if you are in cleric. If healer DPS potency is left the same as it is now, a current DPSing healer will no question increase their overall damage in every instance they enter.

    It's going to be interesting.
