i dont think the ninja is that bad but one dps has to be the worst ...

From what I understand the worst of the dps is currently the monk..

Probably the least desirable in a raid environment at the very least...

I think the op is looking at it wrong though it's not that anyone thing a ninja can do another job can do better it's simply that all the things a ninja can do add up to be a he'll of a lot more than what any other dps can do..

Monk for example does awesome dps. Bit that's literally all it does. And thus it doesn't add up to much in a group environment..

It's the same with white mage. No other healer comes close in terms of raw healing potential but that's all a Whm is good at and thus it's the least desirable healer..

And until recently paladin again.untouchable defence but couldn't dps at all so was the least desirable tank and perhaps still is

Being a perfect 10 at one thing isn't as valuable as being a 6or7 at 3-4 different things.
