So.. what happened to Flying Tank mounts?

Tanks are getting 3 new flying mounts in 4.0. The current mounts for tanks won't fly, but we are getting a flying tiger apparently.

I was hoping those flying tank mounts of the lion, bear, and panther would come too for the worth of tank queues and rewards, but most of that would be moot with the so-called "increased" ground mount speed now that I think about it.

However Yoshida's exact quote,

吉田：タンクには上位専用マウントを準備中です。

can be translated in several different ways, from 'we are preparing a top exclusive tank mount' to 'we are readying a mount for advanced tanks'. Note that it says only about one mount, so it can be an upgrade to existing achievements, like complete 1000 high-level duties on any tank job Mentor mount-style.

I'm going to guess what "happened" to flying tank mounts is the exact same thing that happened to:

- Roaming, capturable primals.
- FC alliances.
- New egis (glamour).
- male-equivalent bunny set.
- minions idling in player rooms/houses.

People could probably think of other things that were mentioned somewhere at some point, but I'm betting a lot of things that were "being looked into" or "will be coming" were either quietly dropped, hoping to never be brought up again or are so far down the to-do list they very well might be saved for patch 4.55 hype content.

Lol if tank and heal get mount, dps should too. Giving mount to one role role feel like they encourage us to play it. Giving mount to 2 roles but one feels like exclusion.

No one needs to be encouraged to play a DPS, especially when healers are being increasingly forced to do that role on top of healing.
