I'm still experiencing lag and disconnects to the NA server, and the majority of the problem is coming from IP address 204.2.229.234, right before the Aether servers (IP 204.2.229.10). 37% packet loss that last time I tested for a ten minute period. I purchased a VPN service and no matter how I route the connection I am still experiencing lag. For giggles, I made a character on an EU server and though I have 300ms ping to the EU servers I had no lag spikes. Something is wrong with the NA server.
