I want to point out that I literally made an account for the forums just to post here because its so absurd and affects my ability to play and enjoy the game to such an extent. If I'm having to pay a monthly fee to play the game, I expect the game to play flawlessly

Type of Issue/Feedback: FAR increased general ping from a steady 21ms to the old server, now to 95-110 with spikes over 130. In standard context I can no longer play many jobs I enjoy to my standards due to the inability to double weave without massive GCD clipping and generally sluggish response, or swiftcast/sharpcast not affecting my next spell occasionally even after the buff has been sitting on my bar for several seconds. At worst I can't play anything at all due to long periods of time where I can actually take no actions whatsoever. Examples on BLM I will activate enochian and it will not take effect ever, or I will be unable to cast any spells (everything greyed out) even though I look at my MP bar and I have way more than enough MP to cast anything. On monk I've had situations where I have hit GCDs 6 times in a row, watched the animation start up and GCD timer start and then have it be cancelled into absolutely no action 6 times in a row. No oGCD use or anything to cause canceling of the skill either, it just stops for no reason. These are things that used to happen when I was currently getting d/ced off the game, now they just happen constantly on a daily basis without a d/c just due to huge ping spikes and packet loss.

Name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP): RCN Cable

State/Country: Pennsylvania, USA

Date/Time: Started happening immediately upon server move.

World Name: Leviathan

Frequency: Effects are present constantly and the ping spikes and such seem to happen with no real reason or timing I can never tell when I will just not be able to play the game. Seems more frequent during prime time 5PM-10PM EST but can happen any time.

Just one traceroute I ran for this purpose. By far not the worst one I've seen, but shows enough for this purpose. Huge ping variance in NTT's own node structure, it is not due to my ISP but rather apparent instability in the routing right next to the data centers.

I literally get better, more stable connection to EU servers now than the servers in my own country. There is something EXTREMELY wrong with that. I'm honestly holding off on pre-ordering Stormblood to see if this gets resolved because I can only see this getting even worse when the servers are flooded versus now when everything is relatively dead. I just can't see spending a bunch of money when I won't even be able to play the game properly.
