Problem for South America is that you moved to west coast. We need an east coast server.
Hey!
Type of Issue/Feedback: Latency increased after server migration, frequent spikes and unstable connection. Even when the lag isn't that bad I get disconnected.
Name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP): Vivo GVT
State/Country: Brasilia / Brazil
Date/Time: Since migration of NA datacenters.
World Name: Balmung
Frequency: Entire time since the migration.
Type of Issue/Feedback: Increased latency and trouble Double-weaving oGCD without clipping on GCD. Trouble getting Shield swipe too while being pressed as oGCD. My ping used to be near 30ms to 40ms at MAX. Not it is min 110 to 140 and it spikes during prime time to 196ms while being in an instance dungeon. Double weaving as Ninja is nearly impossible, has to wait for Jutsu to confirm before applying the final jutsu cast. On WAR, Internal Release + Berserk on window not as reliable as ever, can't used 2 cooldowns without clipping GCD compared before Datacenter migration. Delay between inputing Stance activation and server "activating" the stance ( See on WAR stance macro and on PLD Non-macro'ed Stance). No apparent lag aside lag input confirmation which is now horrendous to deal with.

I mean I'll eventually get used to it. But the change is really drastic even for a 130ms+ ping and the game is def less enjoyable below the 70ms ping. Double-weaving is mandatory for some dps job and you basically just killed it for East coast/EU/SA players on the NA datacenter.
Funnily enough, I almost have a better ping on EU Server than NA Server, which is much farther away than you think.

it happens to me exactly as you said in your observationsHello,
- Ping goes up from 180ms before migration, to 300ms after migration.
- Movistar (Telefónica).
- Santiago, Chile.
- Brynhildr.
- Since migration of NA datacenters. Constant and so far no fluctuations.
- Tracert before migration
- Tracert post migration
Quick observation: This is happening in all South America with ISPs related to the company named Telefónica in South America and Spain. Tracert hops pre and post migration leads to Spain, the difference now on the +120ms average is the jumps it now makes on Spain, France, Spain, Netherlands. All of em with ms increment. Pre migration it was only Spain and with no ms increment hops inside this country.
Thank you.
Type of issue: Constant lag spikes or getting disconnected
ISP: Comporium
State/country: SC USA
Date/Time Today all day
World: Diabolos
Frequency: Most of the day
Please any help would be appreciated I haven't played in a while and I want to get back into the game.
Type of Issue/Feedback: Prominent lag spikes, primarily in instanced content, with a few elsewhere.
Name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP): Comcast
State/Country: Michigan, United States
Date/Time: As soon as the servers came back up after the move
World Name: Hyperion
Frequency: Several times a day
Traceroute records: Here
Notably, this tracert was taken not during a lag spike. Will update with one during if I can catch one while it's happening.
Type of Issue/Feedback: Ping didn't really change if the previous IP I'm pinging is correct, but I've been having occasional (but nightly) spikes in my ping when playing without WTFast. I tried raiding the other night without WTFast after the server move and it was fine for a bit until I started lagging. People freezing on my screen then teleporting to where they actually are. It's not a preferable ping, but it's playable. It is NOT playable when I'm spiking and having the rubberbanding happening. I really do not want to have to continue paying a subscription to WTFast to raid consistently in this game. I only did so because of the previous Level 3 issues. I had high hopes for this move.
Name of ISP: Comcast
State/Country: Mississippi, USA
Date/Time: evening to late evening
Frequency: Every time I've tried to play without WTFast in the evening
Traceroute before move (if this is the correct IP to ping)
Traceroute records after move
It shows no packets lost, but I haven't been able to get a ping specifically when I get a lag spike. It's definitely not at the same degree of Level 3 issues, but Riot servers used to be in California and there were a lot of problems for East coast players and Comcast users for them.
Type of issue: Lag spikes of varying severity
ISP: Comcast (150mbit)
State/country: New Hampshire USA
Date/Time: Every day since NA datacenter relocation
World: Excalibur
Frequency: Most of the day, worst during peak hours
My ping has gone from 18ms to 100ms, but the lag spikes are making the game entirely unplayable. Multiple duties have seen wipes or abandon votes because players are unable to predict and react to game mechanics. Being a healer is near impossible if I can't stay out of AOE and heal reactively!
THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE STORMBLOOD LAUNCHES!
Type of Issue/Feedback: (What type of issue are you encountering? Be as detailed as possible!): rubber banding, hight ping (130ms), lag
Name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP): Comcast
State/Country: Florida, USA
Date/Time: (When did the issue start happening, at what specific times does this issue arise, if any.): About 3 days ago
World Name: Balmung
Frequency: (How often does the issue occur?): All day
