Type of Issue/Feedback: Dramatic ability delay in instances compared to on the striking dummy. My play is smooth on a striking dummy, but as soon as I enter an instance, the same input from me results in "hanging" of the abilities (not executing even though nothing else is happening with the character). The abilities eventually execute, but the character visibly stands there doing nothing for noticeably long periods of time. This occurs primarily during rapid input sequences (i.e., using multiple off-GCD abilities between GCD actions, or under the buff "Rapid Fire"). This results in the same series of actions taking approximately 20% longer. Latency to the server is a constant ~95 in instance or in the overworld, so the problem is not latency related. No changes to frame rate rule out a graphical problem. Literally the only difference is that I'm in an instance.

Date/Time: The ability lag occurs at all times, but only in instances. This began when the new servers came online, and has persisted.

As a quick side note, it makes me depressed to think that I can't play my favorite classes (MCH and BRD) at the level I'm used to. These classes both frequently require rapid input sequences, which is exactly when the problems I'm describing crop up. I've got no inherent problem with my new latency to server, but the fact that my experience decays so dramatically in instanced content means that, for all practical purposes, I can no longer competitively play my preferred jobs. I feel like something must be wrong with the instance servers, as many others have told me that their problems also exacerbate in instanced content. I'm feeling my excitement for Stormblood slowly drifting away...

				- Type of Issue/Feedback: Ping has increased by 70+ms. Routing to the new datacenter from home ISP is being taken to NTT's New York server, then back over to NTT Seattle, before finally down to the datacenter in California, instead of using NTT's Chicago server. When testing on a different ISP, the routing is handled through NTT's Chicago server and taken straight to the datacenter, reducing the ping.

Type of Issue/Feedback: Ping went from 22-25ms with or without VPN to 90-100ms with VPN and 130-140ms without. Everything feels very sluggish now. oGCD abilities take much longer to pop, and Rapidfire clips very often. Please consider reducing animation locks on oGCDs and reworking Rapidfire. Maybe next time consider a location that provides as many people as possible a good experience while playing too.

Pretty much exactly this here except southern New York around 90ms, the problem either lies in the netcode/distance itself or both altogether. Ive done multiple tests on /ac Macros I use to use for buff queuing(using the wait 0.5 command) and as of now they no longer function ever without dropping a skill or two. As another MCH stated earlier the problem persists more so in the open world and dungeons as opposed to housing instances fighting dummys, where the server refresh rate is allegedly higher. The first day I had about 1 second delays talking to NPCs, however since then its alleviated itself somewhat. If the servers can't be moved to a central location I would assume it looks like its time to take a look at that netcode SE.Type of Issue/Feedback: Ping went from 22-25ms with or without VPN to 90-100ms with VPN and 130-140ms without.
