Here is what a good response would be (also helps explain where the issue and why you are having it):

This is what i wanna see from SE. THIS. I recorded my connection for almost 24 hours. Ntt San Jose is constantly losing 25% packages and the lobby server is constantly losing additional 25%. I have lost a lot of crafting materials and i got kicked a couple of times. I played this game from the very first alpha day and i have played FFXI for more than 8 years. The least thing you could do is give us an update! Here is what a good response would be (also helps explain where the issue and why you are having it):

Still waiting on an update... Given the time since this thread was created and the complete silence, I guess the issue was deemed not important by upper management.
The Montreal servers were 500x better than the California servers, I don't even believe they are new servers, they put the old servers on the back of a pickup and moved them to the worst place they possibly could, dropping them on the road a few times.
I keep dcing for no reason, all the people I play with dc or lag.
I have better ping on the euro data center than on my own, 130 vs 110.
If they wanted quality for everyone on NA they would have moved them to Chigaco, but they chose saving money over quality.
updating that I still have packet loss that seems to only happen with ffxiv. I've replaced my modem and router with brand new store bought ones, even took back a modem (sb6190) so I have a netgear cm600 and netgear n900. I've had two techs come replace and double check my coax cables, signals, etc. I've never had these issues before in over a year of playing ffxiv up till the data center move happened. The only thing I've yet to do on my end that I haven't replaced yet is the coax cable leading from the street cable box, remove a brand new 3 way splitter and replace it with a attenuer piece and try replacing my ethernet cables..
That's all that I can physically do on my end of things to fix these issues.. square please just come out and tell us anything at this point about this issue, because at this rate those of us affected are tired of it and ready to stop playing the game or pay someone else money to fix your issue for you aka pingzapper/vpn services. It's odd how I wasn't having any issues even with my old modem/router till the server move.
edit: last night the time frames below were when my ping went from avg of 70-80ms to 90-100ms and was losing crazy packets during those times then between the times it was normal again.
7:27-7:50pm
8:55-9:09pm
9:51-10:09pm
11:06-11:27pm
12:37-12:54am
edit 2: So tonight I haven't lost any packets for ffxiv since I've got on but there is time frames still where the ms goes from 70-80 avg to 90-100ms for a while, below is tonights time frames when ms changed before they went back to normal.. but again no packet loss tonight, it's gotta be these ntt hops cause even people in WA seem to see the ms go up soon as it hits the first few ntt hops.

If I'm reading this right, my largest source of packet loss is San Jose and the jump right before the actual server. Been experiencing terrible lag since Monday and never had it before to this extent. The game is becoming nearly unplayable and I refuse to pay for a VPN service that I've never needed before. Is this going to be addressed at all?
Since the servers moved i had 3 different routings to Sacramento. I don't remember the first route but i do remember the 2nd cause that one has been the best: Germany -> Amsterdam NTT -> Sacramento NTT.http://imgur.com/UMjFoLu

Unfortenately that has changed to: Germany -> Amsterdam NTT -> Ashburn NTT -> San Jose NTT -> Sacramento NTT.
I went from 19 hops to 16 then back up to 19 with constant packet loss in San Jose. I don't wanna pay a VPN service. I already pay enough for the game and the additional retainers.
I still have to use a VPN for serious playing which frankly is really ridiculous as my geographical location doesn't change at all!!!
My connection is fast by any standards you can name, it is something with this 'new' data-center or a still ongoing ddos or something.
Hello!
Type of Issue/Feedback: High latency and disconnecting game several times, mostly in dungeons / attacks. My latency after the server change is 450, before the allocation was 280/300. I can not do anything in the game anymore, and my monthly fee is running.
