Ping increase from a somewhat stable ~60ms to a 105 to 150ms. Have noticed increase lag on skills being recognized in instances, rubberbanding lag, ~0.5s lag on AOE hits registering on character, and the inexplicable routing of NTT from Miami to Virginia instead, oh idunno... ATLANTA

One other bit of information, while in Atlanta this week on business, I checked the routing from there. It was a constant 70ms routing from ATL to Dallas to San Jose.
Posting again. Tracert and WinMTR results below. Again, since the server relocation the frequent "lag" has become quite severe. Abilities show animations, but do not resolve properly, the environment and those in it freeze then spontaneously reanimate, etc. My ISP continues to deny that this is an issue on their end.
Richmond, Virginia.

Please note the thiry-nine percent packet loss.
Type of Issue/Feedback: very high lag spike. this happened only briefly lasting maybe two to three minutes. accessing my retainer took several times longer than usual, as if I was disconnecting. My sister who was playing on her ps4 ran around the room (she is a scholar) and after 10-15 seconds the fairy followed her. She also cast physick, and it took several seconds maybe 5-8 seconds for it to actually go off on her. we were standing in our large freecompany house, gridania, zalera server. Ps4 users. listed spike in ping was average of 1020, but running another check right after listed it back to our normal of 70.
•Name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP):Charter/spectrum
•State/Country: Helena, MT USA
•Date/Time: this happened around 8:15 ish mountain time. as far as we can tell. we had just gotten onto the game. lasting maybe 3-5 minutes
•World Name:Zalera
•Frequency: This is the first time this has happened. we've had great results from the datacenter move otherwise. very little packet loss, and a steady ping around 60-70.
•Traceroute records- didn't run once until after the fact, and everything had return to normal.
Type of Issue/Feedback: Severe, distracting pop-in of objects, scenery, and lighting effects even on max settings. It feels like draw distance has suddenly been SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. This is especially noticeable in residential areas, but happens elsewhere too. Was not a problem before server migration. I have made multiple changes to my graphics settings, but none have any effect on the problem. Visuals are an important part of this game to me, and this problem is so unpleasant that I find it gamebreaking.

Edit: Here is what the Mist looks like now. All those distant houses used to have doors, windows, stuff in the yards, etc. I used to be able to see them all.
This is not only ugly to look at, but makes it hard to take decent screenshots, which is something I enjoy doing very much.
Last edited by Solenne; 05-23-2017 at 11:09 AM. Reason: Added screenshot to demonstrated greatly reduced draw distance

When reporting your issue in this thread, please make sure to provide the following information.
Type of Issue/Feedback: (What type of issue are you encountering? Be as detailed as possible!) My ping has gone up from 30-50ms from the last time i checked it before the server move to what you see below. The last time my ping was this noticable and varying was when FFXIV first came out and I was trying to beat TitanHM (when this was hard content and ilv was pushing i80 thats not a typo). I had to memorize the ability pattern and dodge 6 seconds ahead of what i thought he was gonna do. I really do not want to go back to feeling this way nor playing this game like that. Someone agreed that "its playable up to 300ms or w/e. But its not enjoyable." I ran Void Arc's this weekend and noticed that I was rubber banding a few times while playing. I'm hooked into GB ethernet not wireless.
