    Lag spikes and high latency

    Type of Issue/Feedback: High latency–from 180 ms to a constant 320 ms (190 ms with a VPN)

    I've noticed that, in most ISP's from Telefónica, the high latency begins once it routes to Amsterdam. I am also having massive lag spikes.

    Yes and no. The hop to amsterdam adds like 20ms. The problem is the jump from Spain to France to Spain and some local hops on Spain. It adds a total of 130ms avg. Considering our past ms which was around 180, there you have it: 310ms.

    Latency Report

    Type of Issue/Feedback: Latency/Lag after server relocation

    Date/Time: Since after the server relocation, had little issues with latency/lag before then

    Frequency: Intermittent, almost always a major spike within instanced dungeons/instanced content. No specific time of day, however.

    Traceroute Record

    Been having trouble in general with the second to last hop, 204.2.229.234

    WinMTR Results

    This was recorded over the course of an hour during regular play, including an instanced dungeon. The packet loss in this case was minor, but still higher than it should be. I did encounter minor latency during the instanced content. I do not currently have a log, but I previously experienced severe (upwards of 10%) packet loss with the 204.2.229.234 IP as well. This severe loss occurred directly after the servers came back online. First I was 90k'd and kicked from the server. When I returned, I experienced lag that lasted for about a minute. My GCDs were activating and my spells were casting, but no healing was taking place. My party members seemed to move as well, and their HP dropped as usual. After about a minute, I was booted from the server once more.

    Type of Issue/Feedback: My latency went higher after server move, from an average of 76 to and average of 153. I also have random 90k errors now, at least 8 a night.

    Type of Issue/Feedback: Massively increased ping, high packet loss to the point of unplayableness. Ping increased from 10 to anywhere between 100 and 200, fluctuating more-or-less randomly, with very high spikes every so often. Performing a proper rotation on Dark Knight is completely impossible, and even playing Warrior it becomes very difficult to do a triple Fell Cleave Berserk. Using a VPN mitigates this slightly, but there is still a decent amount of GCD clipping when weaving OGCDs (tends to be variable due to the ping spikes, sometimes i can DA+Carve and Spit with no clipping, while other times I clip almost half of an entire GCD).

    On top of that, I now suffer many disconnection issues (the type where everything stops moving and becomes completely unresponsive for up to 30 seconds and then everything happens extremely quickly as connection is re-established). This occurs very often, often once a run or more, especially during prime time. During offtime, this still occurs every few runs, but the frequency is massively decreased. Ability to clear any extreme or savage content is very strongly affected.

Immediately after the server move, the ping increase and the effects on rotation were immediately obvious. I only noticed the disconnects the next day, but they've been happening reliably since then.

    Type of Issue/Feedback: I'm getting near 320ms after server move. I can't cancel castbars and sometimes even pressing more than one time, some skills does't work. My Raise macros with Swiftcast doesn't work anymore with wait 1 command. And I'm also having a hard time to dodge some skills. Other friends with others ISP have better connection than me in the same state. I'm taking route to Amsterdan while trying to reach Sacramento. Using VPN my ping went to the same old value, 190ms.
