Since apparently I've reached my post limit, an edit will have to do.

I don't think that's the only reason for Yoshi-P not wanting parsing. I think the koike incident just had a really really big impact on him.

"Do you want to know why we will never ever get official ingame parsing?"

Also if you look down far enough, you'll notice I actually argued for in-game parsers, because I think it's useful for improving oneself. But Yoshi-P doesn't agree that the benefits outweigh the downsides. Also at the time I wasn't that aware of the toxicity, but now I'm more aware so I sort of agree that it can make the game more toxic and Yoshi-P doesn't want that, even if they can be reported.

If they don't want the game to be "toxic" they should stop making competitive content, some people want to feel superior and they will use anything to feel that way blaming this on parsers is just stupid.

The only competitive content in the game is PVP and raiding otherwise all the other content in the game is pretty much free for all and stuff such as 24 man raids (crystal tower etc) might be hard at first but eventually just become faceroll content anyways.

Your point is right, but your wording is wrong. If they don't want the game to be "toxic" they should stop making social content. Social content will always have a degree of toxicity, but it is how the devs maintain the toxicity that determines content health. I would say that the absence of tools for clarity (this includes clear stat weights, learning tools, and intermediary hall as well as parsers) does more harm to the health of the game than adding parsers ever will, given that the way the devs maintain parser use is correct.
