In this hypothetical situation, does turning off the parser just turn off the ability for you to see it? Or can no one else see your numbers as well? Or are we talking about a personal parser? It seems strange to deny yourself information unless you just want everyone else not to see your numbers, in which case... I kinda feel like that wouldn't do much good as anyone with their numbers hidden clearly turned it off for a very specific reason (their numbers are low). Maybe a good mentality, instead, is to accept that you have low numbers and work on improving them.
my two cents...
As a PS4 player it is defintely a disadvantage if u cannot parse your own runs. You always need a guy with a pc to get your numbers or you have to rely on your rotation at the sss puppets. PS4 Players have to ask, and the remeber what maybe went wrong. If the pc guy is kind enough, maybe he links me the fflogs upload and i can try to analyze but it is not the same as a direct feedback in combats. I need to see directly what lowers my dps and what boosts it. Then i can repeat and improve...

Nope. Parsers just add a layer toxicity to every encounter. Screw em. And fyi no one will care how big of a crit you got. My fc used to have a ban on parsers until ppl begged for them. Now on TS all u ever hear is them talking about there stupid numbers, it really divided a lot of folks. Don't need don't want it.

Yoshi already stated many times that an official parser in-game will never come. Just forget it.
The only thing I could say is as a PS4 healer I really did get good data with the parsers posted on FFlogs, for a tactical standpoint is not just a number.
Since I´m a healer I really don't care that much about parsing but is really a pain for people who wants to improve their DPS and I can testify that SSS is useless since I know people who says "I did fine on SSS" but fails miserably on the real encounter.
Now the real problem IMO is this people who fails and really wants to improve deserve the tools to do it, that been said is very difficult to these people to gain experience and improve in a Raid enviroment where FFlogs is used as a resume for recruitment
In all fairness I think a "Savage raid Parser Only" is a good option, since is just there where these "numbers" matters. And I think if you raid you need to be thick-skinned enough when people with "arguments" AKA "parses" tells you you suck
I totally agree with you, if they add a real time parser for savage content casual players won't have to worry about harassment. This is a good idea I wish SE would listen to us for once and look for real solutions.
The problem is that everyone has suggestions and they can't implement everything that everyone suggests, not to mention if it doesn't fit with their idea of the game then it's not going to happen. How many years of begging for this or that to be put in (majority wise) and how much of it has actually been implemented? This is beating a dead horse already i don't understand why people feel the need to use a recap to know what your doing. What people still seem to fail to grasp is that no matter what you do, people will abuse it, limit to savage and it still will be used to prevent players from getting in, people need to just figure out how to get better without parsers, fflogs, etc, they're a hinderance and a crutch.
