Dead crops after 2d data center move

I lost roughly 12 thavnairian onions and some crossbreeds into onions resulting in over 7million gil loss in my fc estate garden plot and my private estate garden plot. I would have thought Square Enix might have put a freeze on the garden timers but when I logged in they were all already dead. I watered them just before the maintenance and I stayed up late just to log in to see, if anything I just want the 12 thavnairian onion seeds in my mailbox that I did end up losing out on. I talked to in-game GM and they told me to come here to post about it. Working on those things for months to have them poof due to a maintenance on your end resulting in something out of my control is very sad.

Idk. Pretty sure that was well within your control. Maintenance was announced weeks in advance. And it's not some new feature that time continues during maintenance. The history of every maintenance prior should've been enough to tell anyone that things continue on.

Before we start with the "But I didn't think!" I ask, did you send your squadron out just before maintenance, and were they returned when servers were up? Was your retainer on a venture? Do you have another Map allowance? Have your beast tribe allowances reset? What reason was there to know all of that and still expect gardening to pause?
