I can't get a solid answer from anyone official

The amount of gil that can be transferred with characters and retainers has been increased as follows. Please note this also applies when transferring to high population Worlds

- Are the gil limits in place right now, and for all server transfers? Or do I need to wait for 4.0 release to transfer? The info in mogstation was last updated Aug 2015.

- Which servers are low pop, as opposed to high pop? Like which ones count as not high population? I've seen the census data, but that's all unofficial.

Later in the article it says,

Moreover, players who want to transfer to or create new characters on designated Worlds across all data centers will receive special bonuses as described below.

- So this is in fact NOT just EU servers, and this will be implemented AFTER 4.0?
- What are the designated servers?
- Does this only affect players trying to leave Balmung and Gilgamesh?

I kinda want to transfer during my day off today, and consolidate my characters back onto Leviathan. But I don't want to lose my gil if at all possible (about 12 mil atm, its not a lot, but a lot more than the 1.2 mil I could normally transfer with 2 retainers).

I transferred out of Balmung to Sargatanas last night. I kept 5 mil on each retainer (8) and 10 on my character. I still have all my gils after transfer.
