Do you maintain your glamour while leveling? Do you glam every time you get an upgrade in order to maintain a set?

Yes,
- I spent the first 2 months of my gaming experience lvling crafters to 50 back in ARR before my main battle class even struck lvl 40 just for glamour. It was worth it.
- Can't stand not being in glamour even if just lvling.
- It only takes a few seconds to glamour and now there are universal prisms for every crafting class, so I can just carry around the mats for all of them no problem.

I'm working on my beast tribes to get glam. Specifically, the Gnath Thorax (Vath maybe eventually). It looks amazing.

The issue wasn't the gears i.level, it was your job level.

No, but that can also be an issue. What I'm talking about is required level to equip. Even if you're level 60, you can't say, glamour a hempen camise to look like Alex gear. You can glamour your Alex gear to look like a hempen camise, but not the other way around. Go ahead and try it for yourself.

I still don't know what i will wear since i will get to SAM or RDM from the start =/ Might try a few glams for that later on ! Might stick with my current dancer look for RDM if i like this class more than SAM As for SAM... Maybe the Garo Event set? Hmmm...

My goodness you're a silly goose! I'll reiterate. I was wearing the Dreadwyrm tank chest. In the dungeon I got the Dusk Vigil tank chest. Now it's plain to see that the dreadwyrm chest has better stats, but I liked the look of the dusk vigil chest more. With the system being the way it is, I couldn't glamour it until much later in heavensward when I got gear worth wearing.

I was just trying to be helpful by pointing out this situation, but you wanted to argue to accomplish... something I'm sure..? Congratulations?

I've been pondering this for a while now, actually; I've got a few ideas but nothing set quite yet. I went into Heavensward wearing the same outfit I attended the banquet in, for that refugee effect, and then changed into more practical gear (Battlemage's coat and one of the dyeable versions of the Acolyte's bottoms, I think) for traveling when the story started pushing toward leaving the city.

I'll probably do something similar this time, only I'll be changing into lighter gear instead of a heavy coat. I'll post pictures when I decide on something.
