It would be nice to have a simple "we are not currently investigating this issue" or a "we are currently looking into this" for Stormblood.

Welp... Stormblood is released and I have gotten it twice now. Lovely. Game is unplayable because this has not been fixed.
Bumping the thread, it is still happening to me also.
It is really getting out of hand today. Was only once yesterday, but now it is three times just this morning. Can a rep at least acknowledge something?
cutest part about that is, the queue in the evening is 2.5k-3k, getting crashed with directx error initially locks me out of game for 1-2 hrs
FIX THIS SHIT!
For real, errors every 5 minutes......
also having issue... also have r9380...can only play in dx 9 or crash randomly within 10-15 and every 10-15
Happens to me all the time using the AMD R9 380 gpu in DX11. Ended up having to switch to DX9 to play the game without crashing... sadly it looks like garbage in comparison. Please fix!
Yeah going to give up hope and say this will never be fixed. They have so much reported data on it just in these forums alone and the fact that it's almost entirely specific to one card (the R9 380) SHOULD make it even easier to pinpoint any potential causes. Due to that I'm starting to think that they CAN'T fix it or we're just too much of a minority for it to be worth fixing it--especially since they can just tell us to use Dx9. Unfortunately AMD doesn't seem to handle Dx9 very well so while it's generally playable for most folks it's just not anywhere near an optimal experience. I'd love to get literally any communication on this but if it's something they just straight up can't or won't fix maybe there corporate politics are play or something like that. Just don't think we're worth their time unfortunately.
Hey, I also have a R9 380X and I can't play the game in DX11, same error. Judging by this thread it looks like it will never get fixed, either by the FFXIV team or AMD. It's a shame![]()
