This is the real benefit of the move people are overlooking: I had a shitload of packet loss with Montreal and I live in western MI. I can still tracert a Montreal server from here and get a lot of packet loss (thanks Level 3, you guys suck).

Meanwhile my tracert to Cali gives me stable 75ms, no dropped packets, and I route from Chicago directly to San Jose and ultimately wind up in Sacramento every time.

Yeah when i BLM I used to get my mana cost "tally" screwed up so much, I did sometimes have as high as 20% packet loss though XD Hopefully this stops happening now, or at the very least becomes a rarity not a guaranteed occurrence XD

How do you manage to be routed that way? Tools, contacting ISP? I'm also in Chicago, but get routed to the New York ntt.net, then back over to Seattle, and then down to San Jose.
