Since this is talks about moving servers, I wanna chime in with something that disappoints me if they don't end up doing it.

I would like it if they tried a 2 week test run with combining the DF of bother datacenters. The overall risk would outweigh any issues that may occur, if it doesn't work out, revert it, but if they have no issues then you create an environment that allows all NA based servers to play together decreasing overall wait times to do content.

Japan player here, been playing on Hyperion with really no issues from Tokyo since XIV restarted with ARR. My previous pings were ~280-320 and now:

I suppose this is good, but I was fine before the move. Never really had any issue with lag... (Home ISP in Tokyo is OCN via NTT, same as what you guys call FIOS in the states)
