The waiting game continues, yes, but as previously stated, this is very good news for west coast players' ping at the moment, so...
You don't know what you're talking about, please stop confusing people.
This is why SE gave out FREE transfers to EU players way back so they can play on their datacenter. It's not SE's fault EU players decide to play on NA servers (for whatever reason) after making a datacenter just for EU. You're not entitled to a free transfer that boat has sailed.Playing from.EU, old DC meant around 140-170 ms for me, which often enough meant that oGCD use was wonky, and in case of playing Healer, caused issues with 'stance dance', or caused my DRG to do DRG things like drop BotD or die.
If my connection now drops to 200+ latency, I'm going to unsub, unless SE pays for the 'Gamer VPN' for me, or provides a no-restrictions chartransfer for free.
No it is just were I live, we get 100% screwed. http://rviic.org/2016/06/24/rviic-survey-results/

"I guess even they don’t know it is technically impossible for any of these add-on services (such as Blast! and other speed packages) to improve our internet speeds. None of these add-ons work with the current antiquated microwave transmission method Comcast uses to deliver services to us, all the way from Fairfield. " Fairfield is 22miles away.

The IP is now showing Michigan, where before the hop before tracert timed out was California. On top of the fact that I am a network engineer. So everyone can keep crying about California, or they can figure out it's not actually California.

They gave out free transfers for those who were playing within the Chaos datacenter to move out to the other datacenters, not the other way round... but they really should have.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
I hope it can be Michigan so canadians can also have a good location. Remember NA is not only US so I hope it's somewhere like Michigan.Congratz on trying to insult someone who knows what they are talking about.

Ah I see my apologies then I just looked it up and yeah it was that way. Could've sworn when they moved it they gave EU players the chance to move there, but yeah I agree they should have done it the other way around for sure. Still though it's unfortunate but it's the risk someone takes when they step out of their region and take the chance playing in another.
If you knew what you were talking about you would know that geo IP database accuracy is inconsistent and especially bad for servers.Congratz on trying to insult someone who knows what they are talking about.
