For all that dont know, An official thread has been made. They are asking for the ping changes, tracert and isp to address possible routing issues.

Would have to come with free transfers for players and FCs, though I don't begrudge Square the extra drama caused by the potential splitting of communities that might come out of that.

Good on Square Enix for moving the NA servers from Montreal to Sacremento. I was previously getting 120ms and after the server relocation, I'm getting sub 30ms ping (it's great because I can double weave without clipping with my new latency!).

I just don't understand why so many people are complaining when so many west coast players have been dealing with the Montreal servers for years.

You have to deal with it and adapt, don't be so entitled. =)

If possible, would you be able to show your traceroute, I'm very curious as to what route you are taking to only have a double increase in ping.

Wow, what's going on with this? Mine's going through NTT in asbnva02 (second line 4) as well, but it gains about 20 pings while within Ashburn, VA and another 50+ when jumping to San Jose, CA. I have comcast tho.
Also, what causes the index numbers (first column) to get mixed around like that?

Your old ping was playable - if you went from 120ms to 180ms you wouldn't be happy. And that's the problem right now people have gone from 100ms to over 200ms....
