I don't really dps that much, because the moment I start to cast Stone 1/2/3, the tank dies.

    Mainly from the Sebazy list:
1 - A lack of confidence in themselves
2 - A lack of confidence in others
3 - A lack of experience or knowledge of the encounter at hand
7 - It's not what they signed up for
    9 - Peer pressure

I picked healer for a reason and that's because I want to heal people.
Also, I've always played healer class in every game there has been a healer option.
I've also been bashed down for both, DPSing and not DPS'ing.
All that stacked up with the fact I am kind of new to (healing in) bigger places / to the harder modes of dungeons and trials , healing can be hectic.

PS. for some reason my Whm doesn't have near infinite MP pool as some of the people on the forums give to understand.

WHM has Assize, which AoE heals, restores MP AND does AoE damage.
    WHM can grab Lucid.
WHM has Thin Air (so you can spam, spam, spam that Holy button for free).

The only reason you should be running out of MP is a) You're saving Assize specifically for heal purposes, b) didn't take Lucid Dreaming, c) Are too stingy with your CD's and/or d) not making good use of your Lillies -- AND you're going DPS and Heal crazy on top of all of that. Even then it should be difficult to run totally dry unless you're forced into spamming CureII only for extended periods of time due to squishy tank & poor DPS making mega-pulls take too long. Given you've mentioned that you don't DPS because tanks magically blow up in a single stone-cast (which is nonsensical in itself), we can assume very little of the above applies to you, thus you of all people SHOULD have said infinite MP given you're doing less.

Even when I had no augmented gear and the basic weapon, Skalla (with squishy tanks quad-pulling, even on that ghastly last batch before the last boss which can hit quite hard) never depleted my MP, and I say that as a WHM who loves expensive HoT's that give me freedom to burn more MP by being a DPS monster.

The only reason I won't DPS is if the tank is too unpredictable. If he's pulling multiple mobs doesn't stop until he's almost dead, I'm holding back and focusing on only healing. I'll DPS if I haven't already drained my mana and once things are under control, but sometimes that's just not the case.

i don't dps because i hate it gameplay-wise. but when i don't dps i hate to just stay around and have nothing to do, plus i feel bad for slacking.

in the end i think it depend on the healer mood at that time. sometimes i help dps sometimes i dont.

    - if i see my party smooth rolling enemies left and right, i can just sit back and relax. even better if the party is quite chatty, i can just talk some stuff with them to spice thing up.
    - if my party is still new in the game, i think i can help 1 or 2 dps here and there.

    basically.

So if I'm a DD, and the other DD is playing super well, I can stop doing DPS and sit back and relax and focus on chatting, because the DPS is already being covered?

Your attitude reminds me of the healer I encountered in Copperbell normal yesterday, their choice of action was literally to /sit in the corner while the rest of the group was actually trying to get things done. No one wants this person in their team, no matter how mad chatting skillz they think they possess.

I suggest you ask yourself "if everyone in the group would put in as much effort as I do, would we complete the content [in a timely manner]?" If the answer to that question is no, maybe reconsider your attitude.

Iam healer not healer dps, you are dps, my job is to heal. Iam healing AND dps at the same time, if i want to stop dps for a while i can, because my main role is to heal not dps. IF i said i want to stop healing and keep doing dps then yes by all mean kick me out i deserve it.

Why should i ask myself to do so? Many healer in my server do it and nobody complain except (surprise) some english speaking player, me my guild and most party i gone with, we are having fun, why i must make myself "no fun allowed" attidute? This is why i stick to jp server, its all fun and game here.

I love the official forums, they tell you to use the search for thread about what you wanted to talk but when you use it they judge for necro a thread.

Everyone, no matter what their job is, should aim to use all of their abilities in a way that's the most useful to their party at any given time. If I'm a RDM and the best way to contribute at the time is to raise and heal, I should do that, not go "lol I'm a DPS". If I'm a healer and the best way to contribute at the time is to DPS (I have full MP, all party members are full HP, and there's no significant damage incoming in near future), I should DPS.

Refusing to contribute in a helpful manner when you easily can (when you're not new to the content or the job and the group is doing well) makes one a lousy team member. You are free to make that choice, of course, but there's no way to reasonably justify it.
