I think you're mistaking their intention. Bots/Cheaters and everything in between will exploit every facet and value of every game that has an opening. The devs are not sitting around in a board room clicking their fingertips and laughing about how Real Players get a lesser experience due to botters and cheaters. They've made no official mention outside of people on the forums (Like this thread) assuming they WANT a world of bots, or that real players have less rights.

I think you'd be more apt to get a "from the horses mouth" scenario if we didn't make claims like that.
