Survey Results: What do you find the hardest class to play.

Last Friday I posted this.

Over 370 people have voted.
Around 35 were removed for troll-voting, example: voting 1 or 10 on everything.

All of this is the opinion of a limited amount of Voters, opinions varied a lot during the voting as seen in the spreadsheet.

Some noticable things.
Machinist had by far the highest average at a 7.4.
Paladin had by far the lowest average at a 3.4.
Astrologian got the lowest amount of votes at 270.
Warrior has the highest amount of votes at 282.
The most convincing vote was 73 votes for Paladin for Rank 1 difficulty.

I was expecting MCH to be the headrest but did not see PLD being the easiest.

While the pool size is very small, I am curious if you would like to do one based on Rolls. For example, while PLD may be the easiest to play based on these results, many may think tanking roll is the hardest. I am wondering what others feel.

I'd have thought ninja would have been the highest. With lag actually effecting your opener and the need to fit your damage in a span of 10 seconds, I'd have thought that would have placed it higher as harder to play.

Wuh??? People think monk is easier than scholar??? Thats very surprising.

I did not take part in the poll itself so dont know how the questions were asked but it looks to me as though this isnt a good representation of difficulty to play the job properly (ie, decent dps or topping up buffs)

I'm not sure why Dragoon isn't ranked higher. People really underestimate how hard it is to keep aggro on the floor.

Must be rough when the more gear you get the harder your job becomes .. /salute!

I call bull on the Bard results.

Then again, it's an easy class to play, but it's very, VERY difficult to optimize to the max.

The question was how difficult are classes to play - not how difficult classes are to play at the best level. You could give anyone a SMN and they'll figure out quickly hey I apply dots, spam some ruins, use stacks, go into dwt, spam r3, deathflare and repeat this process, but it takes a little more experience to tri-disaster with the most amount damage available, to communicate with debuffers/buffers to squeeze out even more etc. But as a general rule of thumb is SMN easy to play? Short answer: Yes
